    Look Out Point

    By Cookies Cream | March 29, 2008

Shujin suggested that we go Lok lok at Look Out Point. So, Shujin found some map on the Internet on how to go to look out point and we ventured up with my parent.

The road was like snake very winding. When we reached there we were refreshed by the environment and scenery over there. We went to Look Out Point restaurant for dinner as they are the only occupied restaurant. There was a restaurant named Bread & Olive but it was quite empty.

I will not elaborate much on the food as the food here does not suit my taste bud.

This is the Chocolate Ice Blended (RM5.80) and it wasn’t so tasty.

This is the Ice Lemon Tea

    img_9766-copy.jpg

This is Lime Juice (RM3.80) without sugar ordered by daddy.

    img_9771-copy.jpg

This is their Mushroom Soup (RM4.30). I was quite surprised when the soup arrived as the soup was presented with fried shallots on top. The soup is not not not not not not nice.

    img_9767-copy.jpg

This is their Special Chicken Chop (RM 12.80).

    img_9768-copy.jpg

This is their Special Lamb Chop (RM 14.30). Their ham was still chilled as it was served on our table.

    beef_rice.jpg

This is Curry Beef served with rice (RM 8.30). This is the only dish that receives complements from dad. I don’t eat beef so I could not elaborate on the taste.

    chick_chop.jpg

This is Chicken Maryland (RM 12.80) and this is seriously unacceptable. @.@

    chop_chop.jpg

This is Grilled Fish (RM 10.90). I don’t like this dish either.

I guess this is the end of Look Out Point Restaurant’s review from me. I really don’t know what to say about it as their food and drinks were really not up to par with even those normal western food restuarants. I guess the only reason this restaurant is always crowded is simply because of the view that you can get there.

After an unsatisfied dinner at the restaurant, we went for a walk at look out tower.

After the walk we stopped by Bread & Olive.

We were having difficulty choosing a drink from the menu. This is B&O Flava Layers (RM 9.50) . You can choose any four out of six flavors available on the menu. There’s Kiwi, Strawberry, Guava, Mango, Avocado and Banana. I chose Banana, Mango, Kiwi, and Strawberry. I love this drink a lot because they were concentrated from the fruits. BUT, try to consume it when it’s still chilled because it’s no so nice when it’s warm.

This is the Fatayer that we ordered. It was very special. They have 3 different type of fillings inside. There’s one with chicken meat, one with some vege (spinach or something), and one with cheese.

    olive-pastry.jpg

This is the Sambosa dish with cheese. it was quite special as well. The puff was fragrant with some cheese fillings inside.

Hi, Been following ur foodie blog for a while now…was wondering…just wondering

of the many reviews, u seem quite unsatisfied with most of the joints and i say most not all,

is it because u have high standards for food or just unlucky that u keep choosing the wrong places to dine.

Well, on the lighter side, at least the pics were good. kudos to the camera man.

      cheers

Another thing is this blog is based on my own taste preferences. :D Maybe you can try out the restaurants your own? ;) Glad you like the photos.
